Calcutta University distance education is previously known as the University Of Calcutta. This university was established in 1857. It is one of the largest Universities in the state of Bengal. This university is graded A by the NAAC ranking. University provides a number of undergraduate and postgraduate distance courses. University provides a good library, transport facilities are there, scholarships, inside-campus hostels, and medical facilities as well. They accept admission on both merit-based and entrance based. It is one of the best universities providing quality education for distance learners as well.
